I’ve been a participant since 2014, and I can say with confidence that whether in spring or fall, Dapper Day is one of my absolute favorite event weekends at Walt Disney World.

Down In The Bayou - Port Orleans Riverside
Trying as many Disney resorts as possible is on my bucket list for sure. This past trip, I had the pleasure of staying in Port Orleans Riverside for the first time. I had stayed in Port Orleans French Quarter before and took the boat to Riverside for dinner, but I did not venture farther than the food court. Essentially, this was brand new territory for me.

First off, let me introduce you to the phenomenon known as Disneybounding. Disneybounding has been around for a while now. It is wearing outfits that are inspired by Disney with your everyday clothing. Some people even “bound” as non-Disney characters.
Best Character Dining...Ever!
Confession: Character meet and greets make me incredibly uncomfortable, so the concept of character dining has never been my favorite. Sure, I absolutely love the idea of getting to meet my favs, but in real life those meet ups translate to me being the most awkward version of myself.
