ICON Park

Hey Beauties!

My sister and I were able to check out some of the attractions over at ICON park, a premiere entertainment complex with over 40 attractions, restaurants and shops in Orlando, FL! The team was so generous to provide a guest and I with an ICON park Play Pass.

The Play Pass is normally $69 and not only offers discounts, but also admission to eight world-class attractions including Madame Tussauds, SEA Life Orlando Aquarium, The Wheel, Museum of Illusions and more. Guests who purchase a Play Pass have 30 days to use it, so there is flexibility to choose to visit each attraction on the same day or over the course of 30 days!

When we arrived, the first attraction we visited was Madame Tussauds. This was both of our first time at a wax museum, and it was extremely cool! By far, some of my favorite wax figures to see were Barack Obama, Zac Efron, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Audrey Hepburn!

Next, we made our way over to Sea Life, which is the aquarium. Aquariums are one of my favorite exhibits to visit. Something about them really puts me at ease. This one was no different, and I managed to capture some adorable video footage of several of the animals. At the end, we were even able to touch some of the sea life!

Next on our agenda was to ride The Wheel, but it was closed due to weather at the time. I’m not sure if it was a blessing or a curse. I wanted to take the opportunity to ride it, but I’ll admit that I was a little nervous. I’ve never been on that type of attraction before because I’ve always had a fear of the height! LOL

Instead, we decide to head over to the Museum of Illusion. This place was weirdly exciting and there were opportunities for some wild photos! Many of the optical illusions had us stumped, so we spent a great deal of time at this location trying to crack the codes.

After visiting the attractions, our last stop of the night was dinner. We chose Tapa Toro, which has a Spanish inspired menu! Yum! This location did provide us a discount on the bill for holding a Play Pass, which was awesome. Many of the menu items were Tapa style so we decided to grab a few different small plates for the table. The food was delicious and of course I had to get one of my favorite foods, the Brussel sprouts! This location also has live entertainment, and during our visit it was a flamenco dancer. After our meal, we did one last walk around the park to see all the pretty lights before heading home.

I highly recommend grabbing the pass if you are looking for fun outside of the theme parks. The link is below.
