An Overview Of Dinner At 'Ohana
Ohana, which is located on the second floor of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World, is one of my favorite restaurants for dinner on property. Although a character dining experience is available breakfast, there are no characters at dinner. However, you may get a special dance and song by the hosts and hostess' to welcome you for joining. This restaurant is a great option for dinner if you can get a later time because you can see the Magic Kingdom fireworks show from the restaurant windows!
Now let's get to the meal!
Your meal at 'Ohana will be served family style and is all you can eat! This is one of the restaurants at Disney that I would say is worth the $60+. I never take full advantage of all you can eat at restaurants, but the option alone means chances are I won't be hungry leaving the meal, which makes it worth it to me!
For starters, your table will receive 'Ohana pineapple coconut bread and mixed green salad served with Lilikoi dressing. For vegans, the option is available for a non-cream based dressing.
The appetizer portion consists of pork dumplings tossed in garlic ginger sauce and honey coriander chicken wings. Vegetarians have the option to choose a delicious humus trio served with pita chips.
The meat skewers are sweet-n-sour chicken, Szechuan sirlon steak, and spicy grilled peel-n-eat shrimp.
The table will also receive accompaniments of noodles tossed in teriyaki sauce and stir fried vegetables. A separate serving of vegetables can be brought to the table with Tofu included for vegetarians and vegans.
The final dessert course is one of my favorites, 'Ohana Bread Pudding A La Mode! There is another option of dessert brownies. Our server surprised us with both one time!
For libations, I'm a sucker for a watermelon margarita, and 'Ohana serves up one that is delicious and spicy! If you are in the mood for a more Instagram worth drink, the Lapu Lapu comes served in a real pineapple! The drink menu has variable offerings.
After your meal walk around in the inside and outside of the resort. Disney's Polynesian Village wears one of the most beautifully executed themes out of all the resorts on property. You can even see Cinderella Castle from the beach.
'Ohana is one of the most popular restaurants on property. To secure your chances of dining here, advanced reservations are recommended and can be booked 180 days ahead.
